1. Cancellations and Refunds for 4321adventures

Please read the following cancellation and refund policy carefully. These terms apply to all bookings made with 4321adventures and outline the charges and procedures for cancellations.

2. Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your tour, the lead name on the booking must email us at cancel@4321adventures.com to inform us of your cancellation. The cancellation charges are based on the total package cost, regardless of the payment method (full or partial).

Cancellations are governed by the following timeframes and refund deductions:

• Cancel 30 days before the tour start date: Full refund after deducting a 1.99% payment processing fee.
• Cancel 15-30 days before the tour start date: Refund after deducting 20% of the total package cost.
• Cancel 7-15 days before the tour start date: Refund after deducting 50% of the total package cost.
• Cancel 5-7 days before the tour start date: Refund after deducting 75% of the total package cost.
• Cancel within 5 days of the tour start date: No refund.

3. No Refund Cases

No refund will be issued under the following conditions:

• If you voluntarily leave or drop out of the tour after the trip has started, for any reason.
• If you fail to use any booked services, such as accommodation, transportation, meals, or sightseeing.
• If 4321adventures has to cancel the tour due to unforeseen circumstances like floods, natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other uncontrollable events. In such cases, we will offer an alternative tour or date, but no refunds will be made.
• If you miss the tour, are late for departure, or your participation is terminated due to illness, inappropriate behavior, or any other personal issue.

4321adventures is not liable for any additional costs incurred due to trip changes, including transportation, accommodation, or visa fees.

4. Cancellation by 4321adventures

In the unlikely event that we must cancel or significantly alter your tour, we will provide you with several options:

• Choose an alternative tour or date.
• Request a full refund of your deposit (excluding any amendment charges of INR 1,500).

4321adventures will not be liable for any additional expenses you may incur for travel arrangements (flights, trains, etc.) or accommodations in the event of a tour change or cancellation.

5. Refund Policy for Trekking Gear and Offloading Service

If you have rented trekking gear or booked offloading services, we offer the following refund policies:

• Full refund for rentals and offloading services if the trek is canceled before the trek start date.
• Refunds for gear and offloading services are not available if the cancellation occurs on the trek start date or if services are used during the trek.
• If you choose to cancel on the trek start date or return early, the rented gear and offloading service fees are non-refundable.

6. Trek Cancellation Due to Weather or Unforeseen Conditions

If your trek is disrupted or cut short due to weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstance, you may opt to take the same trek again on one of our future fixed departures for the same trek. The trek fee will be covered, but rental and transportation fees will not be refunded.

7. Cancellations Due to COVID-19 Lockdowns

In the event of a lockdown or restrictions due to COVID-19, which prevent you from taking the trek, we will treat this as an unavoidable circumstance. Instead of a refund, we will issue a voucher for the full amount that can be redeemed for future treks. This voucher will be valid for two years from the issue date.
